Data we collect and why
- Purchase and account data (name, email, billing details) when you join Avocation Society, to deliver the programme, invoice you and meet our accounting obligations. Legal basis: performance of the contract and legal obligation.
- The messages you write to Avocation AI, to answer your questions about the programme. Legal basis: your request and our legitimate interest in answering it. Please avoid sharing sensitive information in the chat.
- Booking data when you schedule a call with Alice through Calendly, to hold that call. Legal basis: your request.
- Technical data (IP address, browser, pages viewed) collected by our hosting and video providers, to run and secure the page. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
Who processes it
Our service providers act on our instructions: Kajabi (hosting, checkout and member area), Stripe (payments), Wistia (video), Calendly (bookings), Cloudflare and Anthropic (the Avocation AI chat), Google Fonts and Unsplash (fonts and images). Some of them are based outside the European Union, notably in the United States; these transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Client data is kept for the duration of the programme and then for three years for our relationship with you; accounting records are kept for ten years, as Portuguese law requires. Avocation AI conversations are kept no longer than needed to answer you.
Your rights
You can access, correct, delete or port your data, restrict or object to its processing, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to [email protected]. You can also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD (cnpd.pt).
Cookies
This page uses the cookies and local storage strictly needed for it to work (session, checkout, the Avocation AI conversation). Our providers may set their own cookies; you can block them in your browser settings.

The programme
Avocation Society is an online collective coaching space with Alice Maudret, run in English, lasting eleven months from the day you join. It includes one live session per week, recorded and available in replay, access to the teachings library, and the members' community. Session times vary through the year and are announced in advance; time zones give no right to a refund.
Price and payment
The price is €5,000 paid in full, or €555 a month for eleven months, as shown on this page at the time of purchase. The monthly plan commits you to all eleven payments, and it cannot be paused or interrupted. Any unpaid instalment remains due and may be passed to a collection service.
No refund
All payments are final and we apply a strict no refund policy. We may end a member's place if their presence no longer honours the standards of the space; in that case we refund the unused part of the programme.
Right of withdrawal
If you buy as a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. When you ask to access the programme immediately after purchase and acknowledge it at checkout, you waive this right for the content already provided, as allowed by article 17 of Portuguese Decree-Law no. 24/2014. If you buy for your professional activity, this right does not apply.
Intellectual property
The sessions, recordings and library are for your personal use. Sharing, recording or redistributing them is prohibited.
Liability
Avocation Society is a coaching programme. It replaces neither medical, psychological, legal nor financial advice, and each member remains responsible for their own decisions and results.
Disputes
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Before any legal action, write to us so we can look for an amicable solution. Consumers may use the electronic complaints book (livroreclamacoes.pt) and turn to an alternative dispute resolution entity listed on consumidor.gov.pt. Failing agreement, the competent Portuguese courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the mandatory rights of consumers in their country of residence.
